HORIBA Medical's focus is in the hematology and clinical chemistry markets with instrumentation designed for rapid, economical and easy analysis in the Physicians Office laboratory and small to medium-size hospitals.
Globally, our instrumentation has captured a significant portion of the world market with strength in France, Japan, U.K. and So. America. Our U.S. facility is located in Irvine, California. Operations feature a 24 hour technical hotline department, customer service and an advanced Quality Control laboratory performing extensive studies to help ensure quality performance of various reagents, controls, and calibrators. Our warehouse ships and receives over 30 tons of reagents per week.
Distribution is handled through both a direct sales force and all of the major national and regional distributors. Our direct team of in-house Technical Service Representatives along with nationwide coverage of Field Service Representatives offers un-paralleled remote and on-site service. With the added value of a direct team of Systems Installation Specialists, these med-tech's are a key component to a successful installation and on-going support.
Through listening to our clients and a constant "One Company" innovation - the cornerstones of our corporate culture - we have become an active player in all sectors of our market and have been identified as one of the fastest growing IVD companies in the industry. In a world fully open to international competition, a dynamic company must be more than the best in its niche. It must also build up a solid reputation and establish links with everyone involved in the fields of hematology and clinical chemistry to help improve turnaround time from testing to diagnosis.
