HORIBA ABX, Inc. finalizes legal name change

NOTICE OF MERGER AND LEGAL NAME CHANGE
Please take notice that effective December 31,2011, HORIBA International Corporation (Irvine-CA), the North and South American regional holding company of HORIBA, consolidated its U.S. businesses into one legal entity, HORIBA Instruments Incorporated.
The merger includes HORIBA ABX, Inc., HORIBA Jobin Yvon, Inc., HORIBA/STEC Incorporated and HORIBA Instruments Incorporated.
As a result, all contracts and transactions with HORIBA ABX, Inc. (d.b.a. HORIBA Medical), will now be legally held by HORIBA Instruments Incorporated, a California corporation. Outside of the legal entity name change, operation and interaction with HORIBA Medical located in Irvine, CA does not change in any way. Our address and all sales/service/production channels remain the same.
The objective of this consolidation is to streamline HORIBA's U.S. operations and further strengthen its competitiveness and responsiveness to customers and market conditions.
