Notice Concerning Special Dissolution of Employees' Pension Fund

The Kyoto Machinery and Metal Employees’ Pension Fund (general type), of which HORIBA,Ltd. and a domestic consolidated subsidiary are members, resolved to adopt a policy to carry out a special dissolution at the representative assembly that took place on February 20, 2014. HORIBA,Ltd. and a domestic consolidated subsidiary were given an official note by the fund on February 24, 2014.
